Food Pantry Purchases Land for New Location

The Food Pantry is moving!  Right now, all we have is land.  Our new address will be in Highway Street, at the corner of Mustang Avenue (near the stockyard and auction barn.)

To make this possible, we relied on the generosity of a large number of people.  The Stevens Foundation provided a very generous grant, as did many private individuals, to make this move possible financially.  Our current lessor, Dennis Roberts, generously allowed us to change our lease to leave a year early.  Also, Eric Mustard of Mustard Designs provided all of our plans gratis.  To these, as well as many other individuals, we are indebted.

Our plans, which are still under development, are for a functional but inexpensive building, which will allow us to use as much of our resources as possible for our primary mission:  to feed the hungry in Fredericksburg and Gillespie County.
